It is cooked and then preserved in olive oil, resulting in firm chunks of flavoursome tuna. It is great served in salads or sandwiches and perfect for use in the classic Galician Tuna Empanada. Conservas Ortiz was founded more than 100 years ago and is established in the small fishing village of Ondarroa, located in the North of Spain, on the Cantabrian Coast on the Bay of Biscay.
