The PADS gold collection we finally found what weOther reusable period pads (those with wings to wrap around the underwear) tend to move around or even flip sides (true story!). Their base layer is made out of PUL (polyurethane laminate), a polyester fibre that is laminated with a polyurethane film the reason why it isn't breathable. Pads made with PUL fabric can get hot and sweaty, and often start to smell as they are harder to clean since water can't pass through it. Believe us, we've been there.
